CPH Food Specialist

Your responsibilities The IKEA Food Specialist is responsible for the planning of the IKEA Food solutions in our new CMPs and major rebuilds. Also, an objective of this role is to attract visitors by offering a unique Swedish food experience and support the sales of our home furnishing offer.

Your main responsibilities will include: • Deliver preparation, planning, design, and solutions for all food areas to ensure high efficiency and low cost, with a strong focus on customer food experience, business growth, profitability, operations, and expanding the customer base.

Ensure high hygiene standards and food safety aligned with local requirements. • Coordinate the planning of food solutions across commercial and customer areas, including back-of-house design. Ensure proper dimensioning, equipment selection, and operational efficiency. Oversee range structure, product grouping, commercial presentation, sales allocation, merchandising, planograms, add-on sales, and equipment for the Swedish Food Market and Consumer Packaged Goods.

• Design and plan a unique food experience rooted in Swedish food traditions. Collaborate with the Central Planning Hub (CPHub) and relevant stakeholders to deliver food solutions that align with the overall home furnishing concept and reinforce Swedish identity. • Manage and deliver a portfolio of projects within defined quality, time, and budget parameters by developing food solutions in collaboration with CPHub and key stakeholders.

• Stay updated on emerging solutions, technologies, and innovations. Contribute to identifying new business opportunities and ensure the implementation of the latest industry developments. This role will be reporting to: Food Manager Who you are For this role you have proven advanced training in Food, Sales, Customer Management or equivalent, with a passion for food.

You have a minimum 5 years of working experience within Food Leadership/Management in a Customer Meeting Point (CMP). We believe you have experience of implementing the Retail Establishment process as well as experience in leading a multi-faceted high-volume business. Digital retail solutions and multichannel retail competence would be another knowledge of yours.

In addition, you possess proven strong interpersonal skills and also multicultural experience. As a person, you have a creative mind-set with ability to encourage creative ideas and perspectives that add value. You have a good analytical capability and ability to apply tactical and operational skills.
